From Interstate 75, take the Fowler Avenue exit. Travel west on Fowler Avenue approximately 3.5 miles. The main entrance to the university is on the right side of Fowler Avenue. Visitor parking permits may be obtained at the Campus Information Center which is the first small building on the right after entering the campus. The six-story Tampa Campus Library is the first building north of the Campus Information Center.

The Special Collections Department of the University of South Florida Main Library maintains a significant collection of WWII related materials. Items in the collection include plans for Henderson Field, Drew and MacDill Army Airfield base newspapers, photographs and postcards. The Tony Pizzo, Hampton Dunn and WWII Letters Collections may be of particular interest to WWII era researchers.
